“Demon Hustle” (2021)

Collaborative thesis film directed by Mafer Martinez & Sequoia Ray.

Haunted by demons, foolish mortals Dave and Debbie call the as-seen-on-tv exorcist, Lord Oloroso. Little do they know that the demons and Lord Oloroso are working together to pull a grand scam.

The film was boarded in Storyboard Pro, backgrounds were 3D with a 2D overlay painted on Photoshop. Characters were animated with 2D rigs in Toon Boom Harmony. Props were animated in Maya. Film was composited in After Effects. Sound was composited in Premiere.
